Samui's long white beaches are lined with coconuts and emerald green seas. Until the first back-packers arrived around thirty years ago, life on Koh Samui revolved around either the island's abundant coconut plantations or fishing. Since then it has grown into a popular holiday destination.

The two inland waterfalls at Na Muang and Hin Lad have crystal clear water and are perfect for a relaxing dip.
